Simone de Gale Architects wins Kensington Memorial Park Masterplan competition
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council Parks Department has appointed local architects SGA as Lead Architect and Principal Designer to transform the Kensington Memorial Park. Designs are underway with a view to gaining planning permission in 2022 and completion of the works in 2023.
One of the factors that helped Simone to win this contract was her commitment to using the local supply chain in her choice of consultants and contractors.
RBKC Supply Chain has been working closely with the Council Parks department to make them aware of local companies. Simone de Gale commented: “Thank you very much David. I should emphasise, it is working with your programme which has helped in our standing in building relations with RBKC, so congrats too!”
