David McAlpine, PROJECT DIRECTOR

David has managed local procurement initiatives all over London for the past 12 years including local supply chain projects in Hammersmith and Fulham and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. His experience also includes successful contract wins for the Camden Council’s iCAM2, Supply Cross River 1 & 2, Supply Nine Elms, and the CITB programme, Building for Growth. He has helped hundreds of local businesses to access and win contract opportunities with major buyers. Well known by councils, he believes passionately in working with local businesses and raising their aspirations.

David will support you with access to buyers and tendering support. 

Rachel Widdows, SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT

Rachel is a qualified ISO Assessor and an expert on many types of accreditation including PAS2030, MCS, Constructionline an CHAS.

You can improve your chances of winning tenders by obtaining the necessary certifications and accreditations. Rachel provides 1-1 business support to help SME’s through the accreditation process as well as facilitating some of our workshops.

Meg Taylor, PROJECT MANAGER

Meg supports MTW projects with all aspects of project support. She’s on site at the events, she coordinates the content on the web sites and in the directories, and is responsible for the marketing, communications and many of the daily operations that make our programme a success. If you’ve attended an event you’ve probably met Meg. If you need help with anything, she’s the person to ask. 

Stuart Woodrow, SENIOR BUSINESS CONSULTANT

Stuart provides one to one support for SMEs on MTW’s programmes, helping them with marketing and finance. He has managed teams in both the small business and mid corporate sectors for NatWest/RBS in London and the South East.

He has many years of experience of helping SMEs, working for a business support social enterprise and setting up and running a business forum.

Jillian Lilico, PROCUREMENT CONSULTANT

Jillian Lilico is an experienced bid writer who actively writes and wins bids for clients.

She offers one-to-one bid reviews and can setup an effective winning bid management system within your business.
